Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 4, 2026

1. Introduction

Nexanet ("Nexanet," "we," "our," or "us") provides privacy, exposure reduction, digital disappearance, intelligence, and training services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain information when you use nexanet.ai, contact us, request services, or reserve a seat in an instructor-led class.

2. Information We Collect

We limit the information we collect to what is reasonably needed to operate the Services, respond to requests, process class reservations, send class communications, protect the site, and comply with law.

  • Information you provide to us: If you contact us, request services, or send us information, we may receive your email address and any content you choose to include. Depending on the request, you may choose to provide a name, company, role, phone number, or other details.
  • Class reservation records: For paid classes, Nexanet stores limited operational records such as reservation ID, class session ID, reservation status, Stripe Checkout Session ID, Stripe PaymentIntent ID, hold expiration time, payment timestamp, invite-sent timestamp, reminder-sent timestamp, duplicate-prevention hashes, and record expiration time.
  • Payment and checkout information: Payments are processed through Stripe. Stripe collects and stores payment details and the checkout email address. Nexanet does not store card numbers, CVV codes, bank account numbers, phone numbers, billing addresses, names, or local attendee email rosters for class reservations.
  • Email delivery information: We use email service providers to send administrative messages, class confirmations, calendar invites, reminders, and responses to inquiries.
  • Technical and security information: Our hosting, infrastructure, and security systems may process standard technical data such as IP address, user agent, request path, timestamps, error logs, and security events.

3. Class Checkout and Calendar Invites

When you reserve a class seat, Nexanet creates a temporary seat hold and redirects you to Stripe Checkout. To limit abuse and enforce one seat per attendee, we may store salted hashes derived from the checkout email address and limited client request details. After payment is confirmed by Stripe, our webhook reads the checkout email address from Stripe only to send the private calendar invite and class reminder. We do not save that email address in our local reservation database.

Calendar invites contain the private class access link. Do not forward class links or calendar invites to others.

4. Cookies and Tracking

Nexanet does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site behavioral tracking on nexanet.ai. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may use strictly necessary cookies to operate core site features. For example, class checkout may use a temporary secure cookie to maintain a seat hold while a user completes payment. This cookie does not store payment card data, class meeting links, names, emails, or advertising identifiers.

Third-party services such as Stripe, Proton Meet, email providers, or linked websites may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their own privacy policies.

5. How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, and secure the Services.
  • Respond to inquiries and service requests.
  • Process class reservations and payment confirmation through Stripe.
  • Send class confirmations, calendar invites, reminders, and administrative messages.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and misuse of the Services.
  • Maintain business records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information, use advertising trackers, or share information for cross-site behavioral advertising.

We share limited information only when needed to operate Nexanet, provide a requested service, process payment, deliver email or meeting access, schedule consultations, maintain security, comply with law, or protect rights and safety.

This may involve service providers for payment processing, hosting, email delivery, class meetings, consultation scheduling, security logging, and legal or compliance needs. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies where applicable.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

  • Unpaid class holds expire after the checkout hold window and are generally set to expire 7 days after the hold expires or is released.
  • Expired, canceled, or refunded class reservation records are generally set to expire 7 days after their final status.
  • Paid class reservation records are generally set to expire 60 days after the class ends.
  • Automated deletion may occur after the expiration timestamp rather than exactly at that time.
  • Stripe retains payment, tax, refund, dispute, and compliance records under its own policies and legal obligations.
  • Emails and support communications may be retained as needed to respond to requests, provide service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
  • Security logs may be retained as needed to investigate abuse, protect the Services, and maintain reliable operations.

8. Security

We use technical, administrative, and operational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection regarding personal information. You may also have the right to opt out of certain uses of personal information. To make a request, contact legal@nexanet.ai.

We may need to verify your request and may retain information when required or permitted by law, including for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, payment records, or dispute resolution.

10. International Transfers

We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate measures designed to protect transferred information.

11. Third-Party Services

Our Services may link to or use third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy. Review third-party policies before using those services.

12. Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 provided information to us, contact legal@nexanet.ai.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy to the extent permitted by law.

14. Contact Us
